I am so happy with my(new to me) 1999 L2500 with loader. We plowed alot of snow this winter with a 6 1/2 ft curtis power angle plow. What a handsome machine, I think I'm in love. I wonder how much it's going to cost me to have it transported 2700 miles!

I have the same make/model/year w/FEL also. Is yours the DT (4wd) version?

You've been plowin' snow with it already and now you're looking at a coast-to-coast move (assuming you're in the USA)? Does that mean you won't be plowing snow next year?

Tell us the story. Please!

Congrat on your new L2500,and you got yourself a heck of a machine there.
2700 mikes..that would be a lot of seat time to bring her home.
Do you know of a owner operator T.T. driver that on a return trip empty.

Harv, we get snow here in California, its not just beaches, surfing, girls in bikinis, spiking volleyballs, jet skis, etc. Granted thats what most of us do most of the time when were not on our Kubotas or International's, but I don't want folks in tractorland thinking its all just fun. Tahoe gets lots O snow, then its skiing, girls skiing in bikinis, hot tubs, hot tadi's, parties and the occasional tractor snowplowing. The point is, Nematoda could be leaving Tahoe and going to say, well, not Maine, it's slighlty more then 2700 miles the last time I drove it, but it could be back there somewhere. Rat...

True -- in fact, I hear there was enough snow up at my property for my tractor to get its feet cold, but on the weekends I was there, it was just wet.

I wuz just trying to draw Nematoda into revealing a little more about where he is and where he's going. The few people I know personally who made such a move did so to get away from snow.

We sure do get snow in California. My place is in the Sierra Nevada foothills, but I'm low enough that I rarely get snow, and it never sticks. But I have a buddy that lives about half an hour farther "up the hill" and he gets enough snow that his Kubota is equipped with not only a snow blower but he had them install a full cab on it.

I have to admit that is probably overkill, but perhaps that is just me being jealous. My tractor has fewer toys than his...Chris
