My ford 4000

My hood says Ford 4000, the stamp on the block is COMM 6015J, the stamp below the battery is 960 44043. Is a diesel, not sure what I have??? Please help, want to rebuild it.

SN 44063 would make it a '64 I believe.

Mine isn’t this tractor but look identical other than front grill

Yes, that is a early 4cylinder 4000 tractor, basically like a 861. The later 1965 4000's were 3 cylinder engines.

Yes I believe it is 64 but the block number is supposedly gas motor???

Sounds reasonable what about the 960 stamp below the battery?
