Why do you repost the video?

Just makes it more prominent for everyone instead of just a link.

A few people have suggested reference points and I think that is a good idea. It will at least give me an idea of how I am doing.
Panels on the side Of the house cant really be adjusted on the go since they have sloped tops. The front and rear ones can, however and I will be doing that, especially where the beams are concerned. There is so much about this process that I wish I had known before hand. Lots of things reveal themselves as we go and it is usually something that a veteran builder would have anticipated.

What kind of center beam will the top of the roof panels sit on? Any midpoint beams.
I wonder if anyone has set SIP roof panels on top of normal roof trusses?

My house is 81 feet wide. Basicly a u shape. Center room is 40 feet wide. Each side is 21 ish feet wide. The sides are conventional lumber. So the SIPs roof will sit on both beams and 2x10 roof joists. For the main room, the roof joists are 6x10 spaced 8 feet on center running from front to rear. Roof panes are 16’ and 24’ in main room and 20’10” on the conventional framing sides.

Saturday was great weather. We put in a long day of building. We got 6 panels up 3 panels that were the window piece for the front bedroom, and 3 more after that. I had a plan of how i was going to get the corner installed. We made all the joints nice and tight across the front of the bedroom wall and there was no accumulated error. In fact we had almost half an inch to play with, so I thought I could put both panels up quickly, snug the corner together with the architectural screws and nail itn in. My plan went horribly wrong. We were there for several hours after dark. Sunday was raining all day. We hated to lose a day of building but it gave time to address some other things. I needed to take our 100 gallon tank and get diesel, as well as do some work around the house we live in. I could not have done this alone, and my wife was a huge help. Having extra hands would have been great but sometimes, it's just the two of us. I will upload video later today when I get to town.
