David...maybe i missed it when watching the video. Don't you have to press the burner knobs in then turn them to light the burners ? Safety feature so you can't bump the knobs by accident and turn the gas on . It happens and i can vouch for it !! Nice stove for the chef in the home !!

This one doesn’t require the push. Just turn it and on it comes. I will double check to make sure I am not subconsciously pushing but pretty sure I am not.

Update time. Last Monday I called the automated inspection line and set up for Tuesday. Looked that night and I wasn’t on the schedule. So the next day I wasn’t on that schedule either. Thursday I went downtown and talked to the department of Community affairs. They said I didn’t have my operations permit for my well and septic. I explained that One year ago I received a stop work order because of that and got all the paperwork done and registered with the court and they reissued my permit. They could see that building permit had been reissued but did not have record of the permit of operations for well and septic. I used their kiosk to pull up my well paperwork that they had saved to my permit case. The forms were something they were not familiar with because the guy who did my septic had lost his license and could not or would not fill out the forms for me. The state dept of heath well septic inspector helped me file some alternative forms that the court accepted and that building permits people accepted and logged to my case a year ago. In the end, they made some calls to the state to get verification and some other paperwork they were familiar with. They set me up for an inspection for Friday.
On my way to the building inspector I had stopped at Uhaul and good thing. There were no trucks available in the whole city because of UVA graduation that weekend. I had the guy checking nearby cities when a 20 footer came available here so I rented for 3 days. I picked that up on my way home and had lauren help me get my car back to the house.
When the inspector showed up at 9 Friday morning I had a full moving truck in the driveway. He checked a couple things, gave me my final pass and said congratulations. I started bringing things in and did not stop loading and moving till Monday (extended for another day)I am back at the house with my trailer getting my last load or two of random stuff and lawn mowers.
We slept there Friday night and even though it looks like we are shipwrecked, it feels pretty good. This morning I got my certificate of occupancy emailed to me. Sent a copy to Jefanna. She said “No one will understand how that feels, other than the person who built the house “
Still a lot of work to be done. But a strange transition, getting moved in and feeling the inertia shift from build to life and farm.
Lauren informed me that the goslings

hatched down by the pond and there were 3 the size of tennis balls. She also said the momma was angry at her for being there. I am hopi g to get them on camera. Video editing is a couple weeks behind. Hoping to catch up soon.

Congratulations on th CO and the move in. I know how you feel to be in your home. We had a sub weather house in and we finished from there. Now you can relax a little and catch up with the farm chores.

When our final inspection was done, he carried the red sticker showing in his hand. That was the disapproved sticker. The green one, passed, were hidden below. Nasty. Jon
