Yes, that's undeniably true. The only dealer in my area either didn't have an Mpower 75 or never steered me that way. It does look more comparable. If you took the Kubota out of the equation I think I'd have gone with the Mahindra. It lacked the fit/finish/smoothness of the JD, but for $15k savings? Are you kidding? That's unmatched value. I'd have gone with the Mahindra.
The whole reason for even bringing this up is for newbies. I have seen this time and time again where the comparisons that where made really weren't comparisons at all other than they were all some sort of tractor. At least you emphasized the cost difference. So many times I see the lowest economy tractor being compared to a top of the line bells and whistles tractor and all you get is how horrible the economy tractor is in fit and finish and that it doesn't have this, this and that.
I think, no kidding, why not try comparing top of the line to top of the line and then see where you are at. To me, the only mis matched comparisons that are any good are those where the person has X amount of money to spend. Doesn't care what size he gets and just lists out what can be had from different companies, low end and higher end for said amount of money. Of course with the high end machine, you get a much smaller machine.
Anyway, enjoy your tractor.
