That is a remarkable feeling when a project rolls under it's own power. Good job.

I find it a lot easier to get motivated to go out and work on it when it is in one piece and running.

Once I fix all the wiring issues, it will be all downhill for me. I suck at electrical, so it is slow and painful...but perseverance will get it done.

I plan to paint the fenders and steering console and hood...and I noticed all the coolant hoses on the engine look original and in really bad shape, etc

Glad to see you got it running. I suggest you get rid of any crimp splices and solder those with heat shrink covering the solder joint. It's really easy to do and you'll never have to worry about that connection again. I found this tutorial online if you don't know how to solder. Soldering Tutorial: Inline Splicing - Socialphy
