( Believe it or not he was told that (paraphrased) "there have been a few of these cracks reported but not enough to issue a service bulletin".
)

Again I will reassure all of you that Kioti is well aware of the problems with the loaders and something is going to be done, I have been in contact with Kioti on this issue several times.
Please just remember that Kioti is sitting here just as we are tapping on the table waiting for an answer from the manufacture of the loader.

I understand how frustrating this may feel that it seems like we are getting no where but rember they had "fixed" it once before and it didn't work so I would imagine that it will take quite some time to do the proper testing to assure that it is DONE RIGHT this time.

Hi All,
An unfortunate series of events, to say the least.
Aren't these cracks completely hidden for the most part? Makes me wonder how many non-websurfing tractor owners are out there with cracks that are unknown to them?
They definately need to get on the ball with a service bulletin and possibly even an owner alert?
I am watching this intently as a potential customer and am so hoping for the best for all involved.

Dare I say it but a "RECALL" is in order. It obvious there is a large scale problem and Kioti needs to respond to the situation. The loader has their name on it, not the true contracted manufacturer. Waiting on the manufacturer for a solution is hurting Kioti. They should at least notify and give the intent on solution to owners of these loaders. This is getting out of hand..........er.....is out of hand!`

The cracks begin out of site below the cover. The cover bolts have long threads, are in a somewhat ackward place, there are six of them, and there is really no reason to take it off unless you have a hydraulic fluid leak. The only reason I found the cracks is that they had grown quite a ways outside of the cover.

I am certain that there are many folks, especially those not on TBN, that have either small cracks or large ones and either don't realize it or don't tell their dealer.

I trust Wallace is correct in that Kioti is aware of a problem. The urgency of a solution can be increased with consumer uprising.

Rick, I accept your word that they are working on it. That information should come from Kioti however. Please let them know they are doing a lousy job of managing the whole issue even if they are trying to come up with a good solution in the end. Image is as important as the engineering from a marketing perspective. They might eventually get the engineering correct but if their image goes down the tube in the meantime it won't do them much good. I personally could care less who built the loader. What I care about is that it has KIOTI stamped on it and I expect that company to be forthright about the problem. Part of that is communication. I am aware that you are an experienced and large dealer who may have personal contacts within the company who can give you adequate reassurance. The rest of us (including apparently my dealer) are being given either evasive general statements or told nothing at all. The simplest little "note to KL120/130 owners" on their website acknowledging a service issue and asking for patience while an appropriate solution is found would do wonders for their reputation and our confidence. It is the lack of information in this setting that is much more dangerous to Kioti's business than acknowledgement of the problem.

I can be patient if I believe someone is being up front about a problem that needs solving even if the solution is not yet clear. I don't like being put in the position of the proverbial mushroom: being kept in the dark and fed bulls**t"!

Maybe you larger internet savvy dealers need to have a conference call with Kioti marketing to give them direct feedback and to relay some of the rumblings from the peanut gallery here on TBN (which I still cannot believe they are ignorant of).

Sincerely,

Mushroom Serial # 319600693 (CK20) and #40709116 (FEL)
