Well folks, it just got worse today.

Supposedly the new loader frame shipped from Kioti on the Monday after I wrote the original letter which means it shipped May 22. Just today it finally arrived in WA. The expected 4 day max trip to more than two weeks. This stinks just by itself but wait, there's more.

The loader frame was delivered in a box truck type vehicle which is something other than the typical Kioti truck freight. Anyway, the dealer tells me it looks as though it has been drug behind the truck. Deep scratches and horrible paint damage. But wait, no problem he says, I have a quart of Kioti orange and we are getting it painted. Oh my god!

Now the "paint job" will mean more delay and he hopes to get it done by the middle of next week. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif Anybody want to bet that the paint job is hacked?

Oddly, today, I get this email from Kioti asking whether I am satisfied with the resolution!!! Resolution!!

/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

How would you feel?

They're already trying to repair your replacement loader?
If the loader arrived damaged, I would expect the dealer to send it back and get a replacement. I would get a hold of Kioti and express your dissatisfication. After the way the dealer repaired the last one, I wouldn't let them repair the replacement.

Good luck... I hope everything turns out better than it has so far.

You can bet I responded to that Kioti resolution request. It was the same nice gal that has been my contact at Kioti. I doubt she had any idea.

My back is sore from bending over.

If the loader came in damaged and it was common carrier, you have to receive the product, note damage at time of receipt, call carrier claims, and then have an adjuster come out to determine value of said damage.

Perhaps common carrier of tractor/parts is different, this is how we normally handle damaged goods via common carrier.

I would of expected the dealer to call Kioti and order another loader ASAP as soon as damage was noted.

If it's just the paint, I wouldn't worry about it, but if it's more than paint, that's another matter. When I bought my last Kubota, the tractor was sitting on the dealer's lot, but no front end loader. He had to order that, which took a couple of weeks, then install it. Since my Matco Tool Distributor brother called on that dealer once a week, he called me one day to tell me he had just seen my tractor, they had the front end loader installed, and were touching up the paint. They obviously did a good job, because if he hadn't told me that, I never would have known it needed any "touching up".
