I think we can all understand Highbeam's frustration and occasional lashing out given his experiences. Highbeam is a bruised fan of Kioti, critical remarks from him are understandable. We don't all need to be sycophants for the company. Even if he exaggerates on occasion, I don't personally think it requires any further response from him (or you) in a public forum. PMs are a good way to give feedback when someone seems a bit emotional and it avoids having a thread disintegrate.

Hey now, yes I'm pretty hot about this but it seems I need to clarify a few things.

-I don't care who scratched up or damaged the "new" loader frame or who is at fault for accepting it. It is either the dealer's fault, the shipper's fault, or Kioti's. I bought a loader with a professional quality finish on it and that's what I deserve to have returned to me after the warranty work is done. I am already damaged by being made wait an additional week for this plus the unknown of whether or not the paint job will be done right. These new damages are starting to wear on me.

-Until and unless this gets resolved I will be limping around like a beat up dog. I am not happy with Kioti at this point, they have some uphill work to do.

-I am still a Kioti owner and still have experience with these tractors. I will contribute as I see fit to all threads in the forums.

If you don't like it, please send me your non-cracked KL130 loader ASAP.

Does anyone have any idea how widespread this problem is? It strikes me that the KL120 and KL130 loaders both get similar (but not identical) types of cracks.

I'd also guess that there are about 40 to 50 CK20 and CK30 owners here on TBN with Kioti loaders. If there are only a couple broken loaders out of a pool of perhaps 50 then the % of failures is going to be under 5% of the total. Now statistically 5% is a pretty large number for product problems but it is possible that most people who own these don't know about the cracks. Or maybe it is not a widespread problem as Kioti seems to indicate via dealers?

Once someone gets a bad taste in their mouth, it is hard to rinse out. If we like a product, we tend to tell three others, if we dislike it, we tend to tell 10 others. With numbers like that, it is important to stem dissatisfaction quickly. That has not happened.
Highbeam, I doubt you will recover your optimism and I recommend you sell your tractor and buy another brand. Time to jump ship, IMHO. These things happen to Honda, Nissan as well as GM or Kia. Nobody wins them all. Sorry to hear you have had such a bad experience. I just don't think you will ever get the same "seat satisfaction" from your tractor after this...at least, not without therapy /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif It is sort of like having your significant other cheat on you...hard to put that behind you and return to the blissful trust you once shared.

I for one would have never in a thousand years removed the plate to inspect for cracks if it were not for this website. I can just imagine how many people who do have the kl120 & kl130 loaders that will never know this without some sort of notification from Kioti. I think the only way to know how wide spread the problem is, if Kioti notified the registered owners and asked them to inspect their loaders. If that will ever happen, only time will tell.
