( I wonder if there's any way to link this and the previous threads together so that people just joining this discussion know exactly what has transpired? )

Anyone can link to other threads, there were 3 other threads on this general topic that I recall. 2 by Highbeam, and one by Steve Miller. Steve highlighted problems with the loader on the CK20, Highbeam had 2 threads on the CK30's loader. The 2 later threads played off of information in the dealer repaired thread, as does this newest thread.

Here is a link: Highbeam's dealer repaired loader thread w/photos

I was just reading an old post with pics . The picture they are showing as a new Reinforced loader is the same as mine. Guess there goes that theory.

It's really hard to judge the damage from most of the pics I've seen. It seems like the reinforcement was only on the ends, and not where your damage occurred. Is that fair to say? It seems to me the whole opening does not have the reinforcement.

They have just added some corner braces, which doesn't do much when the loader is flexing . I think the only way to fix this right is the same way that one dealer did with the ugly angle iron.

There was no redesign or improvement made to wither KL120 or KL130 loaders. The KL130 loader on CK30s was built with the additional curved gussets, the KL120 never had the gussets. Both loaders are cracking up across the country on machines with low hours.

My cracks looked to be the same as yours Kiotimike. Same origin and damage. I also have those gussets.

Does anyone have any pictures of good repair jobs? or any repair jobs? Did you folks all get new loaders? I am confident that a quality shop could do a great job with a repair. My dealer sent my loader out to a professional welding shop but should have rejected the work instead of passing it on to me.

This thread is meant to be a summary of my situation so the old threads shouldn't have too much additional information.

Yes, I picked the loader up after the first repair in the middle of a long rainy spell. The dealer planned to spray paint it when the sun came out. Instead, he gave me a can of paint and let me get back to work using my tractor. He would have painted it for me but you can be sure that there would have been overspray, runs, and fisheyes all over. Paint always make things look better but in this case I knew better than to try and polish a turd.
