Lets just hope your dealer doesn't have the same guy who welded your first frame paint the new one. He probably can't paint either.

I hate to bash any dealer, but yours should loan you a tractor so that you can get these jobs done. Mine would have.

OH PLEASE STOP. It is well known that you have an exceptional relationship with your dealer, you've even written where you helped unload some new tractors when they were delivered. But let's set the record straight (and Highbeam if I missed something please correct me).

Joe went to his dealer with a cracked loader. The dealer went to Kioti. Koiti authorized a repair at a 3rd party shop. The shop did a crummy job. Joe's dealer agreed it was a crummy job. But the dealer really is not to blame here. He may not be the best dealer, but he sure sounds to be trying to be responsive. He is attempting to take care of the problem but the reality is the problem is bigger than just a repair.

And if the dealer lends a tractor to Joe, then the dealer is going to take a new tractor, and reduce it to 'loaner' status, which means it will sell for less, and therefore that is money out of the dealer's pocket. Most dealers will not lend out tractors. It sounds like Joe's dealer is a small dealer so he probably can't lend out a tractor. It seems to me that you are just trying to deflect the problem and blame Joe's dealer.

Kioti could have fixed this long ago, they seem reluctant to do that.

All that is being asked for by folks like Highbeam, IslandTractor, and the others is
for Kioti to admit there is a problem,
for Kioti to send out a letter or notice saying they are working on a solution,
and then to ultimately fix the problem correctly.

Nobody asked for an immediate fix. This has become a PUBLIC RELATIONS problem that is far bigger than a loader problem.

The tractors on my dealer's lot are either new or they're in line for repair (Old JDs and such) I don't know if he deals in used machines do he would have to loan me a new one.

Rather than loan me out a new tractor he could have loaned me or traded me my broken loader for one of his new loaders. This will damage his holdings value less than loaning out a new tractor. Kioti should buy the dealer a new loader and direct the dealer to give me one of his.

I like my dealer and have been impressed in how he has gone out of his way to fix me up on other things but a loader is pretty expensive and when it is lightly used it is pretty obvious. But hey, if he would lend me a new DK45s I would buy him a bottle of crown royal.

The only option right now is to ship out new loaders...loaders that will not be properly enforced at the problem areas...therefore they are just replacing a faulty loader with one that is prone to failing. At this point they cannot issue a recall because what would they do, just replace all cracked loaders with new frames that are themselves prone to cracking? A true and proper fix is in the works but to engineer a fix, test a fix, and then supply Kioti and its dealers with enough fix kits will take time.
)

If there is a known issue with the loader, why ship the loader?

Honestly, a manufacturer that knows it has a defect in its product and still ships the product for sale is not worth buying (or I guess, the trick is not to let the consumer know of the problem).

That L5030 is looking a lot better than that DK45 as of now /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
