Pretty cool. Nice work. When will the front end loader be added :D

Neat idea, but the front end max is 661lbs.With the FEL weight added there wouldn't be any margin left to put anything in the bucket :( Maybe I could build it with Aluminum.

The rear GAWR is around a 1000lbs so I'm ok there.I think the axles are 1".

Have you seen this product? Johnny Bucket Jr. Kubota GR2000 and GR2100

Just something to think about, or fab up a copy of on your own.

Yea,I've been eyeballing those for quite some time, but haven't seen a big need for one "yet".

Current project.....wonder how much pulling power it takes to pull a 42" reverse tine tiller in plowed ground?....I'm about to find out :eek:

Locknut....

I have a JB Jr. for mine. Well designed and works well. That is part of the reason I keep saying the machine doesnt have the power it needs...well it has the power, but can't seem to get it to the ground. I tried using the JB digging a LOOSE pile of dirt and the machine will not push the buket into the dirt fully. Same pile, an old 18hp gravely will tear it up without braking a sweat. I still use the the GR just because it is so much easier to manuver and control then the gravely, but it's still not in the same leauge. I just have to adjust my methods. I did get it back from the shop with all the transmission upgrades. I was hoping it would improve tourqe, but it appears to be the same. At least it's not leaking. : ) I am interested to know if yours will pull that plow....

I was hoping you would see some improvement.Oh well, you got the leak fixed.Did it get rid of the squeal also?

Make sure the dipstick is always on the full mark with the deck raised and warmed up.

It sounds/acts like it always has.....only squeals when I put it in a bind (relief valve I would assume). For right now, it's not leaking....I guess thats about all I'll get out of it. Oh well.....live and learn. Let us know how yours does with that tiller....

Chris,it's pulling the tiller just fine.Of course,I can stall the hydro if I put down pressure on the tiller and bury it.That Gravely you have is a Tank. It's made to do things these tractors were not designed to do.I wish they were, though.I stopped by my local dealer this week and they had a 2160 on hand.Never seen one before. If they would put 4WD and glidesteer on this model I'd own one.The framework and transaxle on this unit is aweswome.

In case you missed my tiller thread......

Locknut...

Very nice job on the tiller! Impressive to say the least. I watched the vidios....guess it comes down to not pushing the machine beyond it's limits. You've created a very useful tool and it appears to work very well. I guess you just need to make multiple passes in order to reach the depth you need? Great job!

You're right about the Gravely...**** near indistructable. It has never failed me, but is not near as comfortable and easy to operate as the GR. Each has their place.

I haven't seen the 2160, but have heard good thigsn about it. So what future projects are you dreaming up for your GR?
