Anyone know how I can look up the nearest Fecon dealer to me?
I'm in Southeast Louisiana.

Most likely going with a Kubota SVL90 and am looking for a dealer to purchase a mulcher head from.

Just call Fecon direct they can get you in touch with your local rep and or dealer.

What is making you go with Kubota? What's the price on them like. I said a couple years ago that Kubota would have a **** good machine in a few years.

We looked at Kubota a couple of years ago. Stopped at a dealer and was actually very surprised by his recommendations. He said that they were working on cooling packages that could keep up with the demand of a mulcher, but currently the machine could not handle it. Maybe they have made these improvements, but I would make sure before saving money at the expense of performance. It's hard to accept when you are starting out, but price is one of the least important things on the priority list when choosing a machine to run a mulcher. You can't make any money broke down, or sitting around waiting on the machine to cool down.

I can vouch for the hydraulic system cooling problems. When I mulch I rent an SVL90. It's one heck of a grading machine for a CTL, but it has limitations running a mulcher. Hydraulic cooling is not it's strong suit. I looked at a 90/mulcher package at my dealer last week and from what I was told...nothing has been done by Kubota to date to upgrade the cooling package. There is an SVL110 in the works...maybe this will be the forestry upgrade recipient?

My dealer told me the new SVL90s have an updated cooling system. I've been checking out the Aux cooling system offered by Loftness. I spoke with a guy running the Cool Flow system on his Tak TL150 and he said it was great. Allowed him to run a mulcher on his machine and not have to upgrade.
