The dealer didn't pick the tractor up, Bud delivered it. Reread the thread.

I don't believe he's suggesting the dealer picked up the tractor. Just pointing out the 1/2 hour of time spent going outside to the yard, driving it in to the shop, getting the part, installing it, doing the paperwork, and returning it to the yard.

I have about $37.50 worth of labor involved in reading this.

Dealer should have installed the spring as a courtesy.

I hope Bud wasn't attempting to pull a fast one by playing this off like it was for the school system.
