Tractor
Kioti CK2610
Hey all. After some time browsing this forum, I went with the CK2610. Seems like a good tractor so far. Love the fuel tank in the back instead of other brands in front. Bought from a well known dealer with lots of repair experience. It's been quit a digger with the FEL in Oklahoma clay.

Thanks. Have seen some with tooth bar, but haven't needed one yet. Working on fish pond after house remodel done.

You should look into a tooth-bar for sure. You have to watch digging with fel, don't want to bend your bucket. That being said, we don't have clay here, it's mostly loam, hard pan and rocks, lots of them. I have a woods backhoe for around here in the Northeast. Enjoy your tractor, you'll be wondering why you waited so long to get one.

You'll find the beer holder works great with one of those Kioti can koozies.

I have the same machine I bought two years ago. Great compact. I have the older FEL that has less lifting capacity, but found the tooth bar didn't make much difference in digging, and when trying to smooth out a grade was just making it worse. I ended up getting the bucket lip Kioti makes for it to bolt on. I am very happy with that. I found the rear end is heavier than the Deere 850 I had so that helps even though both had fluid filled rears.

I agree, I have owned loader tractors since 1999. I have moved hundreds of yards of dirt without the aid of a tooth bar. I also found that I do not need as much rear ballast on the Kioti as I needed on the John Deeres.
