Congrats on the L4060 Cab! Its a great machine I have had one for 4 years and it has not given me any problems.

I am curious to see how well you like the TNT on your tractor. I have the Kubota TNT on mine and I have been disapointed with the side link drooping down after a short period of time. Just be aware of this and hopefully all will go well with yours.

Thanks Stu, I went with the Kubota TNT as well, hopefully if there were past issues they have it worked out now, if not I would think the dealer would cover any issues under warranty. I am excited to have full hydraulics in the rear, it was a pain to manually adjust my old box scraper.

The issues with the side link at least in my case was not a problem with the side link itself...but rather with the remote valves apparently leaking by.
Just watch your attachments back there, especially if precision is required.
Good luck and keep us posted on how you like your new tractor!

Let me know how that WoodMaxx flail works out for you. I'm seriously thinking about replacing my old beat to heck 7' Ford 917 flail with one here in a year or 2. I recently made the jump from L3200 to L4060hstc myself.

I like the new machine, but wish it had a couple more HP though. You people with actual oxygen due to non-Colorado elevation probably won't have that problem though. And I wasn't willing to pay for the next jump up in HP model wise.

My dealer rolled 3 consecutive fails on my TnT setup. First 2 were the wrong length & a bit skinny. But that didn't matter as they leaked out the rod seal badly. The 3rd try was Cat2 cylinders that didn't leak & were beefier, but still the wrong length. Top would only get my QH vertical at best, never leaning backwards & the tilt could go from level to right, not left. No matter how much I adjusted the adjustable link. On all of em the rod stuck out at least 6" at full retraction. Needed a longer cylinder for those rods & it would have fit.

Dealer gave me a refund & I'm in the Fit Rite queue for good ones. The ones my dealer could get in a not so timely manner (3+ months) weren't OEM Kubota ones I'm 99% sure. I hear that is a standard delay, even Fit Rite is backed up a couple months.

I suspect at least some of my rear remote valves have excessive leak down. But I agree with my dealer I need to get decent TnT cylinders on there to test & make sure before they will do anything about it. The concern is noted & I have over 4.5 years left on the warranty, so I have no worries they will deal with it if it's a problem with good cylinders.

I am up in the Mountains at 5300 Ft, hopefully I will not be disappointed in the HP, but my L3800 ran fine for all the jobs I did with it in the past. My dealer seems to know the TNT stuff, but time will tell once I get it home tomorrow. I will post up on the Flail, seems to be a sturdy unit that Woodmaxx designed here, but it's built I am guessing in China.

I'm at 6,400'. It's not bad by any means, but I do a lot of roading. It bogs down to around 7-8mph on steeper hills. A hair worse than my L3200. More HP, but a lot more weight.

If I had to do it over again my only change would be getting Fit Rite cylinders from the get go. Wish it had a turbo to combat the altitude, but not enough to pay a couple grand more for one.

I talked with my Kubota Rep today, he said they have never had issues with the TnT as they use everything from Kubota and have done lots of them with no issues. Will keep you posted on my results.

Well my new tractor was delivered this morning, absolutely love it the 15 minutes or so I played on it. The box scraper is a rental unit until my new one arrives, so it's seen some use.
