Installation was a breeze...took about an hour to drill the holes and install the receiver on the bucket.
had to add 2 6' extension lines as well.
works amazing!
with no practice i knocked out about a mile of overhanging trees in less than 2 hours without leaving the comfort of my cab.
with more joystick time im sure my skills will improve.
Made in America
James at Limbhog was excellent to deal with including calling me back after hours.

Cons:
1)its a very heavy tool.the first time i picked it up was like WOW!...feels like more than 120 pounds.
and im not weak by any means.
my wife picked up the light end to help me remove it and it was easy with the 2nd person.
2)the chain should have a Scabbard
3)i would add 2 welded on carry handles...1 at each end...i may do this modification.

That is freaking awesome! What is the reach away from the bucket?

i was occasionally checking the chain for tension and after 2 hours of trimming it was still within spec.amazing.
it came with a spare chain as well

Any close encounters with your hood?

No...other than leaves and moss
the limbhog is 8' and works off the tilt of your bucket so i was able to go to almost full extension.
plus the saw angle is adjustable as well.
the highest limb i cut landed partially in the bucket with everything else landing in front of the bucket on the road.
owning a pine tree farm and living on a private road this is a game changer for me
what i did yesterday in 2 hours would have taken me a full Sunday with a rented high reach and 2 chain saws(ask me how i know)

Wow... what a great idea. I bet I could make one with a cradle to put one of my existing saws in... food for thought!

Hydraulic saws are certainly cool. I bet that gets lots of use.

I am incredibly jealous. I can see that being a very useful tool. I have some trimming around here I would sure like to have that tool. I just can't afford it. I guess I will still be using my little saw and 24 foot painters pole. Nice upper body workout.
