you are getting some nice equipment to go with your tractor.
Nice grapple. I am sure you'll find many excuses to use it.
I can't believe I'm saying this but sometimes wish I'd bought a 72" instead of a 84" grapple.
Ya with almost 500 acres I have plenty for it to do . Have'n 80 acres logged right now so it will come in handy for clean'n it up into pasture . Sent from my iPhone 5 using TractorByNet
My uncle just had some logging done, maybe 15 acres. I told him I'd clean up the mess with the grapple but he hired a dozer instead. I was honestly a bit disappointed but the dozer will be quicker in the long run.
Lookin good!
About those hoses in the way, it looks like yours are in a sleeve.
What I did was get two short black rubber bungee cords. Take the first one and hook it over something on the grapple (I hooked mine where the hoses enter the grapple frame), make a hole in the sleeve and hook the other end through the hose sleeve and crimp the hook with pliers so it can't come out.
Take the second cord and hook it up high on the loader near where the level rod is (I took my rod off after I bent it). The other end gets attached to the sleeve the same as the first cord.
I've broke a few cords but they are a lot cheaper than pinched hoses.
Edit...
Reading back through this I realized it may not make sense. Might be able to take a picture or two tomorrow if needed.
This wildkat grapple is 600 pounds and it is a $1500 grapple . That I bought .
It's seems plenty Stout thought .
