Hey everyone i have been reading up on building a pole barn on this site for a few months and its a great help. I decided to build a 40 X 60 with 14 foot eaves. Im having a 16X14ft spit slider in the 40' end and two 12x12's on the 60'side. Its being built by durabilt pole barns out of canton OH. The materials were delivered last wends and they brought the trusses and dug the holes today. There sending an amish crew out on mon and said it shoud be complete by thurs. I will be posting pictures of the progress. Cant wait. by the way im in western pa

I will be making a heated insulated 20x40ft room that will have concrete and be a workshop and storage. The rest, 40X40, will not be insulated and will have gravel. I will be putting my ........ in there

Hey today they put all the poles in on one of the end walls and both of the side walls. They put all of the 2x6 purlins and most of the headers on. It is an amish crew from oh thats building it. double 2x6 headers where truses sit on posts and double 2x12's above garage doors
