very nice. I wasn't aware that the Amish used modern day tools

I am surrounded by Amish and their shed building shops are fully equipped with air tools. They also have approval to use cell phones here in Maryland. If power is produced off the grid it is fine, no rubber tired vehicles still though.

I too, have been looking at Loft Barns from Durabilt in Canton OH.

How has the process been so far? My project is going to be a little smaller, only a 24x40.

I'm new at this stuff.. This website has been a big help. Is there any other place for reference? I just want to be sure I do it right the first time.

Any more pics OP?

There is a metal roof. I need to take some more pictures. They put 1/2osb then felt paper then the 29g metal roof. Monday they almost all the metal on and were a few pieces short on the on gable end. Everything went smoothly with durabilt just make sure you get everything in writing first. Never assume anything, the only complaint i have had is for the sliding door track covers. I thought they came with them and there telling me no. Other than that they tried to tell me they dont put drip edge with a metal roof and i told them if i can see wood your not getting paid, so they are going to do it. It started to snow so i hope they can get out here in the next couple days to finish.

Hey,
We are about to build a Pole Barn to use as a Cabin. We are talking with Durabilt. Do you have anymore photos. The last one we see is where they were working on the roof.
Very interested in other photos and what type results you had with Durabilt.
Please respond.
thanks
