In snow country we get accustom to removing lake effect snow! Last years snow fall one week just north of Syracuse.

If my roof looked like that I would be crying. If someone asked what job I hate the most of everything I do, it would cleaning the snow off the roof.

Don't get me wrong. I do "likes" my snow, but I perfer to rent it than to own it. A nice 5 inch snow, a easy clean up and a couple days of nice white landscape followed by a melt is what I want. If I ever have to get on my roof to clear snow the next thing in the drive way will be the moving truck.:D

I figured you guys weren't too serious. Anyway I took the snowblower and the mount off today and put the fork lift on. Then I put the snowblower on again, as we are expecting more than a foot of snow in the next few days. Putting the snowblower mount back on was a challange for one person.

Here is a picture of the interior that a friend of mine was interested in seeing:

Welcome to TBN & thanks for posting such nice pictures. BTW very nice job on you web site.

Those are some nice cab on the B3030, I almost trade up from the BX....but I think I have to do a little more TLC with the Boss...

Thanks again for posting.

Have you thought about getting the new seat? Your picture shows you've still got the old one. I thought the snowblower mount(Quick Hitch)was a piece of cake. I just put mine on for the first time recently. Hang the mount on the tractor bumper, push down on the nose with your foot, tighten the T-bolt,insert pin in the rear of the hitch which is already lined up,driveshaft and lift cylinder hoses. I would think practice could get it down to 5 minutes. By the looks of the weather forecast, you'll be leaving it on,and using it tomorrow. Enjoy!

The only Hard Part is getting the Wife onto the roof!

I used a platform jack to stabilize it, but you are right, I could get it down to may 10 minutes. The blower itself was easy.

I did test it tonight. I thought I would see how it worked in the night. We have about 10" of dry snow (20 degrees outside). It turned, what used to be an adventure with my old rig, into a joke. It was just too easy. The wipers, light and heater did their job. I decided it would be a good idea to wipe down the cab with a towel to keep the water from freezing and pull the wiper blade away from the window.

It must be snowing an inch an hour now, so I will get to use it in the daylight tomorrow. Maybe I will wear shorts and sandals then.

Got to use mine this morning for it's first snowblowing adventure. Had about nine fairly heavy inches plus about seven very heavy inches I've been driving on that's a week old. The ground isn't frozen yet,and I'd have made a big mess. Anyhow that was a pretty good workout for it. No chains needed with those loaded turfs. Wow,blowing snow with a cab, heat, lights, wiper, chute rotator-Very Civilized! And that heater will just plain drive you out of there. I was even thinking of opening one of those back windows for some cool air and defroster help. Gotta get up tomorrow and do it again. Cool.

I agree all of your comments. I have the intermediate tires and no problem without chains. It is snowing now. This time it is "lake effect", so I will have to do it again tomorrow.

Sweet machine. That is one incredible tractor and snow blower set up. I did notice from your pictures that it looks as though you still have the old style seat. If you haven't checked it out, the new seat is hands down better than the old one. I think yours should be a warranty replacement. Enjoy all that snow.
