With options the sticker price was $55,510 plus tax.I get supplier discount and had a $2500 rebate.Out the door price was $51,600.Crazy azz high $$ for any truck or car IMHO.

I can tell ya it will be the last new one the wife and I will purchase.We both retired a few years back and saved a few pennies for a good retirement truck.Time to start to fulfill our bucket list and travel a little more and see more of the good old USA before we croak.LOL

I'm with you Larry, I can't swing it. When I look at new models, such as the coming 2017 Super Duty, I get all excited. Then I calculate how old that new model will have to be before I can afford to buy a used one. Then I calm down.

Yep, very nice truck. Hope it's as tough as my last Dodge; a 1977 3/4 ton, 360 2 bbl, standard cab of course.:laughing: I used it for general transportation and hauling firewood. Then I turned it over to our eldest daughter when she got a driver license, 3 years later bought the eldest a car and turned the Dodge over to the younger daughter. That Dodge had to be tough to survive 2 new teenage drivers.

Good for y'all! Do you have undercoat/oil places that will guarantee no rust if you do a yearly touch up with them?

Richard, back in 2007 I decided to treat myself for my upcoming retirement in a few months by buying a new truck. I picked one out, took a deep breath and ordered it. A few days later, I took another deep breath or twenty, cancelled the order and bought a used one.:laughing:
