You could mount your camera to a magnet, that would allow you to move the cam around until you found a spot you prefer to mount it. You say your grill guard hinges forward ? As for the rear cam I've seen them mounted on the rear turn signal brake light bracket also , something you might look at too.

Good idea on the magnet!

On the grill guard... um, well, actually, I haven't even messed with anything up there in which case I'm pretty clueless. Between the dealer having the tractor, me not being at home, and the weather being a total disaster, I've not had much time with the tractor: maybe put on 2 hours; it's got 10 hours- dealer put on the bulk of this! I might be thinking of some other tractor?

Eric, I'm finally getting around to installing the cameras and monitor in my NX (now that it's back from the dealer's and I have available time to work on it). You'd mentioned that you just ran wires for the rear camera in the rear window opening (open window, feed wires, close window and route wires), is this correct? I had to wade through a bunch of this thread to find a picture showing the rear camera. I believe that you had suggested just attaching it to the black plastic underside of the cab top- is this also correct (what you did)?

Did you ever installed a front camera? I've looked at what a lot of folks have done and I'm kind of wondering about mounting on top of the brush guard: I realize that it hinges forward and that I'd have to provide extra lengths to the cables. Seems that this would provide for a good view.

And for something completely unrelated... Where did you mount/bolt-down your sacrificial anode?

No, when I had the interior out of my tractor, among other things I ran wires up the right side C pillar behind the switch cover, under the cab top and back to my camera.

You guys putting all these extras in your cabs have the best and most utilitarian man caves ever built. All I would need is a fridge and TV and the wife would never see me in the house again.

Would you know if one can get by with just loosening the rear cab top bolts(?) in order to snake the cable through there? Can the headliner be loosened (at the rear and over to the pillar) to lay the cable?

There are six nuts that must be removed from the bottom to remove or lift up the cab top. Do not try to lose the bolts on the top of the cab top, just remove the six nuts. Two in front, two on the side, and two in the rear.

You do not need to remove the cap top. You can use a block of wood to prop it up out of the way after popping off the red fresh air thingy from the inside. Here is my cab top coming off when I replaced my after it was damaged.

And the underside of the cab top.
