Installing that seat would be very easy. All aftermarket seats assume a 11.25" W x 11"D mounting hole on a flat surface. The NX cab floor would require fabrication of a "shim" to create the flat floor.

Unrelated, I got around to showing more about how the Hiniker Big Ox plow articulates plowing an extremely uneven surface.

Thanks for the info. Making a shim sounds pretty simple. I'll study this some more and read some reviews.

I looked through my photos trying to show just the seat plate and I found that I never took a good photo of that. But from what I saw, it looks as though the shim isn't necessary. I never measured the factory seat holes, but to my eye, from the bits of seat pan photos I did see, it looks to me as though an aftermarket seat will straight up bolt in.

Because of the step design of the seat pan, you want around 4" suspension travel seat model.

I took a good look at the Kioti seat; the change should be simple. I'll contact the manufacturer regarding the seat safety switch. Thanks again for your help.

Are you sure you even have a seat switch? Is that new for our tractors. I ask cause my DK does not have one.

The seat switch is a momentary style in the stock seat which is what everything I've seen uses.

What did you find out about your trans jumping out of gear?

Since I was asked to make a video of the shifter popping out of range into neutral, I've logged about 45 hours of time on my tractor and it has not popped out of gear.

Funny how things do that :) If I could just get my smoking issue fixed that way.
