My old Sold BX2370 pulls my new Z724X out of the ditch

60 acres in 8 hours with a 72 deck is an average speed of 10.3 mph with 100% efficiency. That is zero overlap and zero time for turns, etc. No breaks. Pretty impressive. BTW suspension seats are standard equipment on F series mowers.

I have not used the ZD1211/1511 and i never had a suspension seat on anything, but neither does the Ferris I'm using to cut 60 plus acres in 8 hours. (once per week) It has 1 shock at both front wheels and 2 shocks on each rear wheel, of which all are adjustable. I'm just super impressed with this machine. The Cat diesel is not available anymore but it is a absolute beast. I feel like using my F2690 just one time for that 8 Hour job, just to see how long it'll take me, but i know I'll be a mess at the end of the day. (degenerative disk disease)

WOW! I'd never try that much mowing with my F3080 (Haven't seen/tried the seat on the F2690 which I don't have yet). F3080 has an adjustable weight/sort of suspension seat but not as good as the one on the ZD1211 or even the one on the Z724 which isn't as good as the one on the ZD1211 and I think I've read that the one on the ZD1511 is even better, not tried it so not saying that from actual hands on experience just thought I read that here on TBN forum.
Shocks on wheels sounds good, sort of like cars/trucks and my new RTV1140 and RTV500. Had a RTV1140 for 8 years with no shocks and it's worth the trade to me/wife/grands getting the new RTV1140 with shocks.
Have DDD and some Arthritis also so can sympathize. I've mowed for 3 to 4 hours before and it sucks. I appreciate Grand and wife helping now and worth buying whatever it takes to keep them on board. Don't know what I'll do next month after turning 72 when the old age hits me.:D:laughing::confused3::cool2:

I'm estimating the acreage and it takes 8-9 hours to cut. Could be 62 or 58. Yes, 72 deck is what it has. You can throw 100% efficiency out the window as well, but, i only take pee breaks as needed without any coffee or lunch breaks. I believe you're darn close with the 10.3 mph on average. It's a older model with 1000 hours on it. This mower has no suspension seat adjustment that i seen. It slides and it flips forward.

Nobody mows or does anything else with 100% efficiency. I just did the math for S&G.
