The sooner you make the move the better. You can't believe the change in life style will make. We've been out here full time for 10 years last month. About 3 years ago the people across the road bought the house and started remodeling. After about 6 months they had it liveable, and they only came out on weekends. About 6 months later they moved in full time and it took him about a year to get that grin off his face.

So many things have happened.

Move the carport cover to use for hay storage

First cut got 645 bales for 8 acres sold it all now need rain

This weekend decide to install a culvert to get to the back 7 or so acres. Do far did it all by myself.

This is a path a that goes next to the dry creek that divides the woods

Gotta love that grapple

I have a loader plat that I welded a 3 point quick hitch thing too. So I used the grade bladed to clean and shape

neighbor gave me a 24 inch pipe.

needed lots of bags of concrete used 42 so far had to make 2 trips.

2 extra pipes also free

already cleared about 50 feet into the newly opened area. Not bad for about a day and 1/2 of work Total cost was about $200 for the bags of concrete.

Thanks for getting back into posting. You have a great place. I really like to see yours and everyone else's projects as the wife and I are about year out from our big move and the start of her errr our list of projects! Can you post a pic of the setup you made to do your grading? we are taking vacation next month and I'm going to try and improve a road with my box blade.

Not sure about the pipes, but what's the worse that can happen? I use concrete sacks like that all the time. I'm really excited when they have the 40 pounders instead of the 60's. After stacking them, I like to run rebar through them to tie them all together. You can just about push the rebar through the sacks, and if you have a lot of them, it's easy to get it through with a hammer.

There is about 12 inches of dirt on top of the pipes... The tractor is only on the culvert for a few seconds.

After I get the clearing done.. it will be used for just the golf cart.

I already used all the rebar I had on hand I had a bunch of pieces of metal from a hay rake I repaired and they worked pretty good

Still need about 10 bags of concrete. Those bags were much heavier this morning than yesterday.

For I 579 I use my box blade for grading..

I will take a picture of what I used on this project.
