Stan, your well and tank are identical to mine that was put in 12 years ago. My well is about 60 feet deeper, but everything else is identical.

I loved doing this.

Also got my hay field sprigged with Tifton 85.... just in time for the rain hopefully starting today I was there and the sprigged from about 2 am until finished. I left at 5:30 to get back to Houston and work... been a long time since I work all night.

Who drilled the well? Looks like a good set-up.

W5 in Anderson... They did a good job and were very reasonable.

This was the project for the weekend.. I have to say one of the most useful!

Great work Stan. All really looks good. I think you are enjoying the work as much as the place itself!

Stan, your place is starting to green up really nice for the springtime. Do you have many wildflowers? That tank filled sure looks nicer than last year when everything was dry as a bone. I never expected it to fill so quickly.

Seeing your gate pictures reminded me of what my wife asked just yesterday (BTW: Nice job!). She wondered if our new ponds could be a liability due to somebody wondering off the road and into one of them. We don't have a fence. I told her that nobody ever drove off the road into one of our gullies, so I don't think we have to worry too much. We'll put up a posted sign eventually and that should do. I had a fence for awhile on the front of my property and like it a lot better without any fence. Since we don't have livestock, I don't really see any need for a fence to maintain, unless it is just for decoration.

Thank@

I got the kit at Tractor Supply.

It listed for $459.00 had heavy duty opener, 4 remotes, and key pad. It was on sale for 10% off and I had the 10% off coupon.

The gate is not heavy but wanted the heavy duty opener.

It was just at $400 and shipped to store free

The install was fairly easy.... The kep pad took a little to get it programmed

In the next month of so I will run electric up to the gate.
