I have not told the wife yet....

My dream tractor has a cab. I don't know what color is it, but it will have AC!!!!

It's here and I did get to play... I mean work with it a little. It will take some getting used to. Already used to the AC so just the way the tractor works.... More pics late....

Oh MY! New tractor WITH AC!!! I want one too. Just happened across this thread and say that I really enjoyed reading the progress. I think that it is great that you now have your little piece of heaven here on this good earth.
It takes a LOT of Ibuprofen, $$$, and dedication to get this far.:laughing:
Are you going to retire to this place? Or will it always be your get away?
I've noticed that more and more big city folks from Houston are getting near their retirement age and buying places to eventually get out of the traffic and headaches. My theory goes something like this. Before and after WW2, there just weren't any jobs in the rural areas so dirt poor people moved to the bigger cities and started families. 2 or 3 generations of said family stayed in the cities and raised their own families. Now that the baby boomers are retiring, some have enough wealth to retire and move back to the rural areas and get away from the problems of the cities. It just took a few generations. :laughing:
