So I thought I would give this a try for the feet. It's 5" round stock 1-1/2" long with about 1/2" 45 degree chamfer. Not sure if I chamfered it enough, but we'll see.

I know this is brought up in about every plow adapt thread........but.......

id you add a crossover valve?

I see you used the SA cylinders. So adding one is cake, and not too expensive.

I cannot comment on the feet. I dont use them.

I knew that was coming!

No I did not, but I plan to eventually. I thought I was in a bigger hurry, but it just doesn't seem like we are getting snow this year. I'm still in trial mode to see if there are any changes I want to make. I'll just have to be careful for now.

Yep, be careful. Not likely you will damage anything other than hoses. But for $50-$60 to do it right, why not.

I don't have feet or a crossover valve now, but growing up our plow had the mushroom feet mounted on a slight angle so they would spin when they started to drag instead of wearing in one spot.

Nice adapting fab!! Looks like you are getting ready for some action!
I used to plow with an older Fisher 7.5 feet plow. (it is one of my upcoming projects to take it off the truck, and install it on my UTB 643DT) Trip edge is wayyyyy better than the tilt action (soft) of the mold board on the Myer brand. You will loose a lot of snow everytime you hit something hard. For the feet, I do find 1.5 inches a little high. But for your first snow, that all good. It will be more for the subsequent pushes. The round feet from Fisher , work reel nice, and were easy to adjust, using space washers to get increments by 1/4". The cross-over valve could prove to be a life saver, as already suggested.
Also I don't know how low your directional cylinders are, but for truck mount, the Meyer one were sitting so low that they regularily took unwanted beetings; so keep a close eye on them when you will get out the first few times.
Keep the pics coming!! And hopefully action clips to follow:)

Happy Tractoring!

Got it painted and just finished reinstalling it.

Here is a close up of the feet installed.

The edge is 1-1/4 off the ground... we'll see how it goes. Maybe over the summer I will take the plow apart and have it blasted then paint it. I will also probably install the crossover relief at that time.

On my plow trucks , I never use the plow shoes . I run meyer plows and when you get snow in front of them they lean a bit so the edge is on the pavement . But I dont do gravel roads or lots , I need the cutting edge on the pavement for a clean plowing.
