You really think thats the robbers car? He doesn't own a car he just stole it or car jacked it and it's probably got a plate off something else that the owner doesn't know his plates missing yet and is blue in color. Its of little use to the investigation, that's why they steal them.to commit crimes.
When I saw the car I wondered if it was his grandmothers.

If you click the little black triangle, lower left of your most recent post, you can ask the admin to change VT to Ventrac. Thanks. (There is another way to do it, I just can't remember what it is, and after so many hours it's not available, and you then have to use the triangle anyway).

I'd give about 10 to 1 odds that if you find the car you will find the thief. Professionals steal cars to commit crimes (I had one stolen that was used in burglaries) but this guy doesn't sound like a professional to me. Someone doing smash and grab on lawn tools probably couldn't hot wire a car if his life depended on it.
