My "why I carry a firearm " rant

I don't open carry because I don't like advertising that I carry.

I like to see people open carrying for two reasons: 1) the fact that they are armed MAY discourage any assaults and, if an assault occurs 2) because I think they will draw fire first from the bad guys. Just try to not get caught between them and the bad guy.

Don't you love it when they can't accept that rights are absolute so they invent a scenario and then pretend to be outraged by something no one was talking about.

what I love are the ones that think that the 2nd amendment only allows you to own ,and carry guns BUT , under certain conditions...That's the part I love

I'm not saying you guys don't have the Right... Congrats. We even agree that people should actively exercise their right to carry a weapon!

Personally, I think you're an idiot if you open carry "because it's my right" to do so, without having a rational, legitimate, sane reason.

I don't know why you care about my opinion so much, but you guys must really feel the need to defend your weak position to keep flattering me with all the responses.

Not sure about the 2nd ,but the 1st statement is why I OC..But, no one has to explain their reasons to anyone else..
There have been cases where someone was cc, and was robbed, because the person couldn't get to his gun fast enough.. Had he been OC ing,, it may have deterred the robbery to begin with..No one knows for sure though..
How many people OCing has deterred a robbery ?? You may never know
