You should be considered a Domestic Terrorist. If you feel the need to carry your pistol, which I completely support, do it concealed, so you don't infringe on the rights of everyone else to feel safe and unmolested in a public environment.

"Open carry zealots give gun supporters a bad rap, and another reason for the liberals to complain." Since when do liberals need a reason to complain, and who the h*** cares? Someone likes playing the "I'm in the NRA" card then throws out a lot of disclaimers.

I personally wouldn't open carry because it's like telling the bad guys "shoot me first." Never under estimate the power of a surprise attack. With that being said, I have no problem with open carry as long as the carrier is trained in the proper use of his or her weapon.

Just because somebody takes a CCW class, doesn't necessarily make them a qualified weapons carrier. Most states only require a couple of magazines worth of ammo to be fired from almost anything including pellet guns. Legally they can carry, but legally people who can't read or safely operate a motor vehicle get drivers licenses almost every day.

If you CC that's your business.. I OC most of the time ,and that's my business.. I don't knock people for cc, they shouldn't knock anyone for oc..

I see there are some here that won't everyone to carry their weapon like they carry their's, and that will never happen...

Anyone who open carries in public simply for the reason "because I'm exercising my right" and not for an actual, rational, intelligent reason.... is a moron and should be considered a Domestic Terrorist.

People seem to forget that "exercising your right" only flies until you infringe on other people's rights. Saying you're doing something just because you can is like saying "I can eat my own poop, it's my constitutional right" is fine and dandy in your own home if that's what you're into... But as soon as you go out into public, smelling like crap, interacting with people who don't want to smell your BS (or see your over-compensating visible pistol) ... You're infringing on everyone's right to peacefully exist in the public space that we all have to share. Like it or not, Soccer mom and her 2 kids don't want to see you walking around the local FoodMart showing of your anti-bullying device. And they certainly don't want to smell your "it's my constitutional right" BS either.

No one has to explain their need to carry open to your satisfaction, you don't get to decide what others need to do to satisfy your paranoia.
