Fishman, I'm only going for a max of 3 implements.

Junkman, My wife read your post and we got it perfectly straight exactly what a "Tractor Implement" is. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

JDGreen 227, She gets a thinner husband.

Murph, no kids no problem.

Sendero, no problem, there is no gain back clause in the agreement.

Big Dave, Congratulations on your weight loss, Maybe you can renegotiate, besides you don't need new clothes just ask Ralph.

"I've lost 30lbs since November by cutting out snacks and decreased portion size. I have about 100lbs to go"

At what point do you intend to re-register here as MediumDave? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I don't know if I ever can be a MediumDave. With a goal weight of 220lbs, I'll just be going from a 4XL to an XL. Maybe NotSoBigDave might work for me, but I have a long road ahead.

A few years back I had a doctor suggest that instead of using a riding mower that I should use a push lawn mower instead. Mabye if I don't ride my tractor, but push it around the yard I might increase my odds of success. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That's a good question.

At my annual physical, they had to record my weight as 350+lbs, since I was beyond the Dr.'s scale's range. On November 17th, the Dr. gave me my blood test results & told me what would lie ahead for me - I weighed in at 352lbs. Combined with the results from my cardiologist from earlier in the week, it didn't look good for BigDave. The diet started when I got off the phone. Now that's motivation.

Today, I weighed in at 319lbs. So, I almost lost 10% of my body weight. Now if I do that again say 3 more times, I will be the weight I was when I joined the Navy some 19 years ago - 220lbs. When I hit 220lbs, I will change my TBN name. To what I don't know yet. Maybe I'll take a poll when the time approaches.

Now it's been a really long time for me, but how big is a medium? 160lbs?

LOL LOL this is the funniest post I have ever seen on TBN.

I'm 5 feet 8 inches, 165 lbs, think that qualifies as medium. If you bring your tractor out here and cut my six acres by pushing it you will meet your goal REALLY fast.

Congrats on your weight loss thus far! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

You also better modify your 2004 budget to include buying an entire new wardrobe, perhaps several new wardrobes! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Did the motorcycle thing back in the '70's - Honda CB750. My son got his Honda a couple of years ago....but thankfully he sold it. I was one worried Dad.

I like the idea of TBN being a support group for weight loss. I just bartered my services for a couple of used Polaris personal watercraft. My biggest worry now is that I won't be able to get on the thing. I'm 6'3, 245 pounds......and will be 52 next month /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. My goal is to get down to around 230 by the end of May so that I won't look like a complete fool wallerin' around the water trying to climb up on the thing. Last summer, we were launching the boat and a couple of middle-aged guys were trying to get onto this brand new PWC. One guy would get on from the dock, and it would be kinda squirrely, but when the other guy got on the back, off they would go. And they couldn't get back on. Pretty soon, they were out into the water pretty far out from the ramp, and had to kinda push the thing back in. Did it all over....same thing. The wife and I still get a kick out of thinking about that. But now all of a sudden it's not so darned funny.

We all wanna look cool on our rides. Whether it's a tractor, motorcycle, PWC, whatever. I'm thinking that this PWC thing might blow my image.
