Steve,
If you only want to drop 15 pounds, you might consider trying the South Beach diet plan. If you follow the plans schedule, over the first two weeks you'll lose somewhere between 8 and 13 pounds, all pretty much from around your middle. This plan should be a cinch for you to make your goal. Plus, once you get through the first two weeks, you'll find that your eating habits have changed quite a bit, and you'll be eating more healthy.
I've been using the plan since just after Thanksgiving. I'm no fool, I waited until AFTER good eats day! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Anyway, at the end of my first two weeks, I'd lost 12 pounds from the waist line, and had dropped one full pant size. Since then, I've been averaging about 2 pounds per week, which is considered the proper amount to lose. I've got to admit that I didn't lose anything during the holidays, but I didn't gain anything back either! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif I just watched what I was eating most of the time, and indulged when I wanted to. In the last week, I finally got back on the tread mill for 30 minutes a day, and have started losing slowly again. I've pretty much lost just about 25 pounds since I started. Not as much as I wanted, but a WHOLE lot better than I've ever done. And I'm eating much healthier and enjoying it more!
It might just work for you too. Get a copy of the book, either soft cover or hard cover, and take a look.
You may have recently heard that the Atkins diet has just announced that they are making some "revisions" to the eating plan. Upon close examination, it appears that their revisions will make the Atkins more like the South Beach. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
Good luck, and please make sure to post some pictures of you climbing on that PWC!! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
