Another way to win the lady over. Put the grandkids on the tractor and you will be their hero and then by default she will associate it as a good thing.

I guess I'm a pretty lucky guy, because my wife does seem to get it. She has even told me lately that it's OK if I want to upgrade to a bigger tractor now that we have bought an additional 25 acre property. Frankly, I'm suspicious!
