I don't know how many times I've heard people who have had skin grafts say that. I know that about now, for her, it all seems to be neverending but it is the time for patience and just letting the body heal itself. Tell her she is still in our thoughts and prayers.

Update:
We went to the doctors today and he has finally removed the gauze bandaging. She is to keep two Band-Aids on it that we/she have to change twice a day for the next two weeks. She is happy to have the gauze off as it was very uncomfortable in the heat.
The doctor said he is very pleased with the outcome thus far (as are we) and stated that if she keeps up on her exercises, she may not have to go to finger therapy /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. You can see the nail starting to grow which made her extremely happy but not where the re-attachment is which made her even happier yet. Today was a great day for my wife who so much deserves it. Again, thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers. I've attached some photos I took when we changed the Band-aids tonight.
