so can someone tell me how to use the power adjusted rear wheels? i know i have to unbolt the stays but how do i know when to stop the adjustment at the place where the stays hold the wheel? can't see them unless i get off tractor.

Nice looking tractor. It looks almost identical to my 58 961, except for the paint colors of course. I've adjusted my wheels and haven't come up with a way yet to line everything up without getting off the tractor and looking. It's sort of a guessing game, but it is not hard and didn't take but 15-20 minutes to do both sides.

I meant lining up the bolt hole on the inner rim with where the retainer goes on the outer rim. When the wheels are adjusted out you can see from the tractor seat, but as they are adjusted in it becomes very diffficult/impossible to see from the seat.

depends on the PA rims you have. the ones on my ford 5000, I merely bolt the stop in and adjust till they stop moving.. then clamp stuff down.

I will take a look at mine again and see, it's very possible that I just missed the obvious and am doing it the hard way.

if you have the pa rims like my 5000 you remove/reset the stop, loosen bolts, lube rails and then adjust.... then button her back up.
