Wow, that rebuild is a great how to as well. I like the cartoon cross sectional as well. It's very clear to understand what needs to be fixed.

Amazing that a person needs to literally get to the deepest level of the tractor to perform this task.

i am glad the axle seals are the way they are on my YM2000.

It was realitively easy on my tractor when i had to replace one due to leaks. That thread is floating around here somewhere

I know it's around somewhere. I believe I commented on it because had to replace my Seal. What I didn't do was replace the Collar. Didn't mess with at the time and mine only had small Micro. pits in it so I let it go. Nothing much at all to do but just pull the Hub. The collar is what's Difficult or Troublesome. Been 4-5 yrs. and I don't even get the couple dips anymore when I park it. Over filled It also. Done it on Hyd. Fluid and I now exactly how much Oil "Not" to put in it when you only put the Dip Stick in to where the Threads on it begins. I'll get a few dips out of the Trans. Housing.
