972 lbs according to Owner's manual.

I hope to try it out this weekend along with my stump grinder unless it is too wet.

They say rain saturday and clear Sunday. What does your HD bucket weigh?

HD bucket is 676 lbs according to the spec sheet I got. Probably more like 720 lbs now that I put those big teeth on it. :D

Nice finished product! Sweet looking rig for sure. Only thing I don't understand is you say it started raining, so you put everything away, was the cab leaking??

Nah, but I wanted to install the PB kit and complete the oil collection system on the rear remotes before heading out into the woods.

Also, now that I finally have the loader, I can put on my pallet forks and get that metal roofing raised up and installed. All that non pressure treated, untreated lumber isn't really digging all this rain. :(

Got the PB kit installed along with the oil collection system. Turned out pretty nice I think.

So I put the pallet forks on and figured I'd see what the loader was capable of.

This was just above idle (1200 rpm). I'm impressed!

Peter, Do you wipe your feet before entering the cab?:D

so whos the poor sap that lost their car? :D almost looks like your going to need some more rear ballast

FANTASTIC! Lifting the car should give you Picture of the Year!

The tractor looks really good! You are going to have a ball. Every time I use the tractor I smile and today it was raining and I was unloading One ton bags of lime on pallets and thinking, yup, that's why I have a cab!

I can see several differences in your single point coupler. The handle is down when coupled, mine is up. Yours has a tubular handle, mine a flat bar. Does yours have a provision for a wire connector, I could not tell from the pictures? Is yours made by Faster?

Grapple hoses may have to be long enough for older loaders with the couplers mounted a lot higher than yours. My grapple needs the hoses longest when completely dumped. I tie wrapped a tarp strap to my hoses then to the grapple to keep the hoses from hitting the ground. They form an "S" and will stretch out when fully dumped.

Nice you were able to upgrade the bucket from 73" to 85". I knew the HD "was" available without grapple brackets, but may have been discontinued, meaning all new ones have the grapple brackets. Cost of the brackets might be cheaper than the logistics of having two parts numbers and buckets to warehouse.

That car pickup shows a lot of lifting power! Have you checked the loader manual for ballast reccommendations? I am surprised it did not lighten the rear with that lift!

I didn't attempt to actually drive around with the Saab, but I plan to have the stump grinder on the back most of the time when using the grapple.

I didn't actually get a operator manual with the loader, just the installation instructions. Will check back with the dealer on that next week.

Zebra, I did not notice any provisioning for a wire connector. I have not yet uncoupled mine. I'll be sure to take a look when I do. I'll also get back to you on it being a Faster or not. I know the boom mounted 3rd function is Faster, so the main one probably is as well.

I cobbled together a 22' extension for the pallet forks to allow me to put my 24' roof panels up on the roof by myself.
