I have a question about your 540E setting. What would you figure for hp that your getting at the PTO when in the "E" setting?

Good question! If IRRC pclausen had a dyno run before delivery. He might have a print out of the HP at different RPMs and could tell you what it made at ePTO engine RPM.

That would be interesting. It would be neat to know what sort of 'equivalent' hp it would be at the E setting. I'm curious because I know you mentioned that the stumpgrinder works considerably better without the E and using the full 85hp of the tractor pto. I'm keeping a running list of things to consider for my next tractor purchase years down the road, and this could be helpful information

That's a good idea. After I change my break-in oil at 100 hours, I see about having it run on the dyno again on both 540 and 540E. I'll also check to see if the dyno is capable of producing a hp/torque curve as is typical of car dynos.

Barn is pretty much all done except for the floor. I'm going to wait a bit for that until things fully settle.

I can get to the 10' cutter, stump grinder and 90" finish mover without having to move stuff around, and the 24' GN trailer, all up against the rear wall.

I have gotten pretty good at taking the loader on and off.

Disking virgin uneven terrain is much better without the loader on. It gets quite bouncy at 6mph! I'm loving the EH hitch. The only thing missing would be if the top link cylinder would go out of float automatically when I raise and go back to float when the disk is on the ground. I suspect that the 6 series and up with the Electronic rear remote controls can be programmed for this.

Disking without the loader on reminds me of driving a sports car, way more maneuverable. :thumbsup:

Very nice job on the addition. Roof lines show you got it nice and square (not easy to do).
What is the little jog in the front roof line just after the new roof starts? Is it longer to cover sliding door tracks ?

Bet you love the multicoupler when removing/attaching the loader!

The addition has a 1' overhang where the original had none. This pics probably shows it better. Down the road I might consider sliding doors. The big storm the other week left quite a mess inside.

Yes, so much easier than dealing with the individual hoses and no mess at all!
