I was searching the net for building ideas and found this mygazines.com web site. Very interesting concept... free magazines (lots of titles) to read on-line. Each magazine is complete including ads. Magazines which interest me are "Fine Home Building" and "Self Builder". Anyone else use this site. I did not find any farm/tractors magazines.

I recently stumbled across it too. Very cool indeed. I like it because I can read Sports Illustrated for nothin'! (I have a pet peave with SI...while I love the magazine, it seems as if it's become more of a pamphlet each week rather than a magazine. All for the same price!)

Go figure, too good to be true! I guess it will be just like the music and movie industry going after the "free" download sites. Now that it has begun the larger publishers should think of ways of making money from this. I personally hate most magazine's new stand prices. In Canada many USA magazines are $7.95 to $9.95 per issue and I refuse to pay those kind prices.

Sure, some say I'm wasting wood/ paper, but I like the feel of a magazine or book in my hands. It is more difficult to read an electronic screen. (I guess I'm giving away my age.) Besides, you can read a book nearly anywhere. (Hmmm, as I said that I realized you could read a laptop or e-book screen in the dark.)

Only if you have a power source.:D:D:D

I like books and mags even though I read alot on the computer. Some things are easy to read and understand on paper.

Huh, could be very cool. I subscribe to fine homebuilding, and won't stop, but I'd love to have access to back searches without paying - I hate keeping stacks of magazines.
