I'm stumped...

I moved several yards of dirt for my neighbor the other day with my 2810 FEL. After the work was done my neighbor found a bolt lying on the ground near where I had dumped the dirt. We both assumed that it had fallen off my tractor. I have looked everywhere but can't find where it might have come from. Nor can I find any other bolts on the tractor that look exactly like this one. The bolt has a 17mm hex head. The threads are about 3/4" long. The unthreaded area is about 1" long. The overall bolt length including the head is about 2 1/16". On the head it reads SK 10.9. It is sort of a brass color with a lock washer. I've included a pic.

If any of you might have a suggestion on where I might look to find the spot where this bolt came from on my Branson 2810 I would certainly appreciate your help. Thanks in advance.

This bolt is proable holding something on that is 1" thick. Like you I would think that it is from the FEL. look at all of the mounting points! Good luck! Good Hunting!:)

It looks to be zinc plated and if I'm not mistaken, those kinds of bolts are generally found more on the implements than on the tractor itself. At least that's how it is on my Kubota where most of the large bolts have a coat of paint on them.

What sort of implement is mounted on the rear of your tractor?

I don't have any implement mounted on the rear end at the moment. On the tractor I can find several bolts similar to this one in material. They are all unpainted. But they are of different sizes. I was hoping to find one that matched in size...then I would get the part number from my manual and then search for other uses of that same part number. I can't find one that matches in size however.

Have you looked on your loader? Check the brackets that hold your metal hydraulic lines in place on the frames and cross bar of the loader. Most of the time there will be a bracket that the bolt holds to clamp the metal lines. they can vibrate out without you seeing any evidence of a loose line. Willie Jones

My tractor is at my hunting property so won't be able to check for the bolt again until later this weekend. I'll be sure to check the FEL thoroughly.
