MYSTERY PAW PRINT

We do have deer farmers around, but I doubt any would be escaping due to their high fencing...but it is a possibility. I have not seen any on our property. Been very wet now for awhile, i'll try go look for more prints today for more opinions.

I know that some places on your continent have feral goats as well. Maybe you have a goat visiting your property?
These goats are also invasive and a problem in some areas.
It's definitely a hoof print, I've seen and speculated over many in my day......
Hard for me to know when the track is 9000 miles away on a continent I've never been to, with animals that have names I can barely spell.
How did you guys come up with names like "kangaroo" "koala" or "kookaburra" anyway?
And why all the poison?
You have many deadly snakes, spiders, a poison platypus and even a deadly octopus...what's up with that? ;):confused3:

No dont think its a goat. I had one but sent it to a pony place awhile back.. Never saw any others around. We in Australia not NZ. We dont have swamps here, although with all this rain recently, we might end up with a few swamps..lol

This is a kangaroo print, the pic you have is a cloven hoof, No swamps in Oz????????? I dont know about that mate. IMG_2121.jpg The roos are almost in plague proportions, got to be careful driving here especially at night.

Hi Loudo,

Good to see another Aussie on TBN,

To clarify we dont have year long swamps in my elevated areas in Victoria, however in the Yarra Flats area we do have areas called WETLANDS where the Yarra River meanders around and often floods during the winter and spring rains. I know in Queensland and NT there area large areas of swampylands where the Crocs live in the more tropical areas.

I've added some more paw prints pics found today but i think they are old ones and the rains we have had all week may have affected them a little. I could not see any fresh prints on the wet trail. Should have taken pics of the poo, but the battery cut out. The roos have become a menace since the 2009 bushfires destroying their habitats so im advised there are thousands in the hills around me and shooters are having fun. I've only seen about 10 in a group having a meeting..lol but not often. The rabbit numbers seem to have dropped, but not holding my breath that the virus might have had a long lasting effect. Will see this spring I suppose.
