I bought a set of deep impact sockets at Lowe's...

The only caveat in buying a set of impact sockets is to be sure the largest in the set is big enough...many sets include up to about sparkplug size (say 21 or 22 mm) then quit, which is very irritating. The same is true of the Imperial sets. Most of the buyers of these box store tool sets aren't going to be working on heavy equipment, so the sets don't include sockets or end wrenches to rebuild a bulldozer.
