The piston might be stuck. Look down the barrel and see if you can see a flat surface. Take a long Phillips and try to push the piston back up. Sometimes this resets them. In the past I've had to replace the trigger valve when this happened. I currently have one gun that has always been a problem child and is not reliable so if this one is under warranty, I'd exchange it.

I have battery Dewalt finish nailer. At end of group of nails, last nail turned and jammed. I had to remove a few screws and pull out nail with plyers. Plunger was pushed forward, wouldn't retract until I remove nail.

You should of been able to release the quick clip on the nose and pull it out, shouldn't have to remove screws.

it is in my opinion that after sitting around for 5+ years, that one of the O-rings failed. If you left a flat tire on your car for 5 years and then aired it up, it would work, but you will always have a flat spot. Find a re build kit for it. Looks intimating with all those O-rings, but you just match for size. Not hard. Don't over oil them either, most common mistake. A couple of drops in the morning, again at noon if working it constantly. Don't worry about moisture in the line as long as it isn't so much it looks like a garden hose, you don't need a drier on the compressor. Use a dryer for spraying finishes.

I agree with this. I left my Portercable sitting and had to have rebuilt.

Did not watch the video, but it is easy if you remove the top plate and take out one piece at a time, replace the rings and then do the next one, so on and so forth. When you get to the last one then you put it back together as it came apart. I will admit the first one I ever did was intimidating, but now like my AR, I can do it with my eyes closed.

I will agree with this, all of my nail guns are Senco, some are 40 years old and I have used them to make my living.
