Re: Still Nameless

Why do you have to wait for the snow to melt? Some good times can be had in the snow in the seat of your new baby!

Re: Still Nameless

We have a little snow left. Mostly heaps from earlier clearings. The rest is just mud. I need lots of snow or drier ground before I can get some seat time. We now have .5 hours and the kids are tired of me raising the FEL and the 3pt up and down. I need a few days of good warm weather, my sister's yard awaits!

By the way tigger is a great name and has moved to the to 3.

So true /w3tcompact/icons/smile.giffor I just finish scooping out my culverts, which meant moving snow bankets to do so.

Kevin, it's been an interesting thread. Of course, I always thought most people waited to name their tractor until the first time something breaks, and then you usually think of several names pretty quickly./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

After several payments and 10 hours the name is, "Rising Sun." Named after her country of origin and how she looks standing on the job site in the early morning hours.

Thanks for all your help and suggestions.

Congratulations on your new tractor, you will wonder how you got along without it. Next winter don't park your tractor in the garage, go have fun. We get the tractor out and hook two of those plastic tobogans behind it. Kick in your 4-wheel drive and go out through the snow, out in the fields (please, not the road). We tie the sleds long so they have more action and they like fast corners. My son, son-in-law and neighborhood kids ride until you almost have to pry them off with a shovel. We sure have a good time, I guess I never grew up, I still like to play! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif So get that tractor out next winter!

We use to do the same thing when we were kids. Then one day the tractor stopped moving and the sled kept going. My older brother ate the rear end of the tractor with his front top two teeth. Be safe.

Spencer, I really do appreciate your concern./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif It probably does sound dangerous, But the youngest rider is 16. We are careful as we can be .Compared to some of the other things we do, this is relatively safe. I think any time you pick up a chain saw, operate heavy equipment, drive a car, or a myriad of ordinary, everyday activities, you are at risk. I guess this reponse is to try to convince you that we are not total idiots, just maybe a little rednecked./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
