Rumors are circulating that NASCAR is considering two changes to the 2006 playoff system: an increase to 12 teams from 10 and a cap on the number of teams for a single owner.

Views
NASCAR says this is not a reaction to Gordon not being a part of the playoffs and Roush owning 50 percent of the field, but change (both good and bad) is nearly always reactionary.

Also, A little birdy told me that Hendrick Motorsports was holding a press conference today to announce Robbie Loomis was being replaced as Jeff Gordons crew chief.

Now, I haven't been in any of my accounts where I have to know NASCAR news yet this week, so you guys need to keep me up to date on all the rumors and news etc. so I don't look like I'm not following things closely. Alright, I'm back and here is my 2 cents for today. If Jimmy had let Kurt get out of the car, it would of probably resulted in the poor baby crying. Second, when your dad owns the race team, you don't NEED talent. Finally, next year I am pulling for Reed Sorenson who will be moving up to the #41 Target Dodge. And don't expect me to be cheering for Martin Truex Jr., he Jr., Jeffy, Jimmie Johnson and Kurt Busch (to name a few) will be on my "I hate you list". /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sorry Dude, but when I go into an account and the "drop dead gorgeous" office girl happens to just love Jeff Gordon; I'm suddenly a huge Jeff Gordon supporter! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif The same goes for Jr., Kasey, Ryan Newman, and even Jimmie Johnson.

When the hair leg across the room starts in on how awesome Crusty Wallace is, Mark Martin, Kevin Harvick, Kyle (pretender) Petty, or Jimmy Spencer is; well, sorry.
