That's a good way to break your front axle.

You know that you're close to tipping when you get off and you can push on the ropes and the wheel lifts. Have done that a few times with unbalanced loads that were too heavy. If the upslope wheels lose traction that's a bad sign too.

Done that a couple times lifting pallets with stones/pavers just enough to move them, where I was clearly max'ing out my FEL.

I thought the back end of Mahindras were too heavy to lift off the ground

I've watched the video several times and, while I believe it to be informative, I also believe it to be staged. Too many things don't add up such as the whiskey comment, taking ten seconds to either stop or lower the load etc. I'm sorry, don't mean to offend anyone, it just doesn't all add up.

Reading the posts once again, I see that I had Einthewoods mixed up with the OP in regards to the bourbon. :)

Regardless of the brand, there's is the best.
Go to any dealer and ask their opinion of the competition! Apparently the Deere was a close second. All it needed was a 500# operator.
Watching that video...did Randy Quaid do the voiceover?

Since the OP had troubles with only 1540 lbs a few feet outside the pins, so much for advertising and the 3122 lift to full height at the pins rating it carries. Mahindra is a good brand but no better than the other big brands. The back end can come up on any brand given the right conditions.

erkme73, as soon as you feel the wheel lift you should drop the loader. On a greater slope you would have rolled.
Been in that situation with duals on the tractor. Nasty feeling.
