Need 3 hands to connect PTO shaft to tractor.

I am wondering if it has to do with a PTO shaft on an American tractor being an inch and three eights and an Asian brand shaft is metric and may be a little snug getting past the balls ?

Its a huge problem on tow balls . A 2 inch ball is visibly bigger than a 50mm ball .
