Neat Mog. I've been jonesing for a 404 ever since a neighbor let me drive his Swiss army 404. Lotsa fun--loud, bouncy and, with the 82-110 hp 6 cyl gasser, not a real speed demon (hard to get much over 50 mph). But the 404 is the ultimate off-road vehicle, IMHO. There are youtube videos showing guys backing a 404 up a vertical wall.

Those MOG's sure look heavy built. And to think this one's been pulling box cars around! I guess the "'Benz Badge" from this one is hanging around someone's neck?

Von, this one looks to be in better shape than the first one you restored(and detailed on TBN). I remember that on had a lot of body cancer and other issues.

What is it about this one that makes this one a parts rig?

For those of you who have only been here 4-5 years, VON detailed his first MOG restoration right here on TBN.

Got it home yesterday, Got it running and now just need to swap out the master cyl. for the clutch and I'll see if it can move on its own!
